Mrs. Anita Kay Riggins Hickey, age 58, of Garden City, Georgia, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 12, 2025 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia following a brief illness.

Anita was born, September 6, 1966 in Douglas, Georgia to Larry J. Riggins and The late Colleen Harper.  She was a Development Review Coordinator for Nassau County, Florida.

Anita is survived by her husband, Robert Hickey of Fernandina Beach, Florida; 3 children: Amber Debroski of Savannah, Georgia, Kaylee Lipo of Eulee, Florida, Bran Debroski of Fernandina, Florida; 2 sisters: Darlene Barlow of Pearson, Georgia, Nancy Riggins of Millan, Georgia; 2 brothers: Roy Riggins of Millen, Georgia and Darrell Hill of Nashville, Georgia; along with a number of extended family members and friends.

Memorialization was by cremation and a family memorial will be held at a later date.

Condolences, kind words and fond memories may be shared with Anita’s family at www.ricketsonfuneralhome.com.

Anita’s arrangements were entrusted to the kind and compassionate staff of Ricketson Funeral Home, Inc.
