Mr. Julian Lee “Bo” Worth, Jr., age 75, of Broxton, Georgia, passed away Thursday morning, April 10, 2025, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
Bo was born February 22, 1950 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Julian Lee Worth, Sr. and the late Doris Arlene Norris Worth. He proudly served 4 years in the United States Army before joining as a partner with his father in Taylor Rentals. Julian went on to make a 22 year career as a maintenance technician for Elixir Industries. Bo was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a tried and true racer, building cars from the ground up and then racing them for countless wins. Outside of racing season, he enjoyed hunting elk and deer and salt water fishing in Virginia. He will long be remembered by many for the giving his famous advice.
Bo is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 31 years, Regina Deen Worth of Broxton, Georgia; 6 children: Julian Lee Worth, III, and wife Jamie, of Broxton, Georgia, Wesley Joseph Worth, and wife Alicia, of Roswell, Georgia, Mandy W. Musgrove of Douglas, Georgia, John Anthony Worth, and wife Chassity, of Broxton, Georgia, Tori S. Whitley, and husband Scott, of Nicholls, Georgia, Jonathan Patrick Smith of Broxton, Georgia; 12 grandchildren: Abigail, Creed, Maddie, Kara, Hagan, C.J., Henli, Adrian, Cannon, Novalee, RexLee, Libby; 1 brother, Rusty Worth, and wife Sharon, of Broxton, Georgia; and 1 uncle, Steve Worth, and wife Mary, of Florida; along with a number of extended family members and friends.
Along with his parents, Bo was preceded in death by: a sister, Cindy W. Taylor, a brother, Randy Worth, and a son-in-law, Carlton Musgrove.
Memorialization was by cremation and family and friends gathered to honor Bo on Monday evening, April 14, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tim Hoover offered a message of comfort and a number of family and friends offered eulogies.
