Robert “Daniel” Taylor, age 51, of Douglas, GA, went to be with our Lord and savior on Sunday, April 20th, 2025. He was born on February 7th, 1974 the son of Billy Robert Taylor and Winnell Taylor.
His survivors include: his beloved wife; Sara Taylor of Douglas, GA, father; Billy Robert Taylor, mother; Winnell Taylor, two sisters; Melinda (Victor) Gilbert of Jeffersonville, GA, Diane (John) Woods of Douglas, GA, one brother; B.J. Taylor, two step-children; Star Wainright and Noah Wainright of Nahunta, GA, three aunts; Debra (Howard) Carter, of Douglas, GA, Gail (Stanley) Merritt of Douglas, GA, and Carolyn (Danny) Whitley of Douglas, GA, two uncles; Denny (Beuleatha) Taylor of Denton, GA, and Richard Mike Wells of Douglas, GA, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: grandparents; Elvin Lee Taylor and Mildred Taylor, and Henry and Martha Stone.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 24th, 2025, at Harvest Time Church of God in Douglas, GA, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Victor Gilbert and Rev. Glenn Fussell officiating.
Active pallbearers will include: Reed Gilbert, John Robert Wood, Tim Bagley, Scott Bender, Margarito Perez, and Johnathan Sears.
