Ammie Charlene Espitia, age 54, of Nicholls, GA, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Espitia was born on November 29, 1970 to the late Mart Wicker and Carrie Hall.

Survivors include: her beloved husband; Jose Espitia of Nicholls, GA, one sister; Tammy Ross (Larry) Chestnut of Douglas, GA, one son; Evan Fyffe of Douglas, GA, one daughter; Ashley (Jason) Wilson of Douglas, GA, grandchildren; Andrew Diparma, Hayden Fyffe, R.J. Stewart, Miracle Broadway, Jaxson Fyffe, five brothers; Tim (Pat) Wicker, George (Anita) Wicker, Johnny (Melinda) Wicker, Clinton (Pam) Wicker, Calvin (Tammy) Wicker, special friends; Becky Callejas, Jaime Lopez, Shelia Mowen, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Espitia was preceded in death by: three brothers; Jimmy Wicker, William Wicker, Stacy Wicker, and one sister; Mary Caldwell.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 11:00 am, at the chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Hersey officiating. The interment will follow the service at Satilla Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will include: Evan Fyffe, Bo Music, Andrew Diparma, Benjamin Spencer, Bryce Blanton, Stacy Rodriguez, Matthew Lemons, Mart Wicker, and Jason Wilson.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
