Corazon, a national leader in services for the cardiovascular specialty based in Pittsburgh, has granted the annual re-accreditation to the PCI program at Coffee Regional Medical Center. This marks another successful year in CRMC’s ongoing commitment to excellence in cardiac care, a journey CRMC has been dedicated to since 2018. This continuous effort reflects the CRMC team’s unwavering dedication to providing top-tier cardiac care. The team has worked tirelessly to uphold rigorous standards, ensuring every patient receives the best possible treatment.

This re-accreditation, year after year, proves that Coffee Regional Medical Center’s PCI program has continued to meet or exceed the Georgia Department of Community Health (GA DCH) standards. Corazon has an extensive track record of working with over 600 hospitals across the nation to evaluate, re-engineer, and implement best-practice PCI programs. Additionally, Corazon has been a trusted verifier for PCI programs in the state of Georgia and has actively contributed to building a consortium of hospitals to drive legislative changes throughout the state.

Together, Corazon and Coffee Regional Medical Center will continue to work together to ensure that life-saving PCI services are made accessible to patients in the local community, with the aim of safe care and saving lives.
