Kathy Ann Smith age 65, of West Green, GA passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday June 4, 2025 following an extended illness. She was surrounded by her loved ones and aided in care by Coastal Pines Hospice. Kathy was born to the late Jimmy Howard Corbitt and Elizabeth Katherine (Cat) Deaton Corbitt on April 6, 1960. She was a long term resident of West Green, GA. She had a passion for hunting and fishing and spoiling all of her many grands and great grands.
Survivors include: two daughters; Kathy Diane Smith (Roger Clark), Jackie Lynn Hall (Lewis Hall) and one son Allen Jackson Smith (Jackie Swails) all of West Green, GA. Six grand kids; Jacob Smith, Jordyn Dedmond (Keegan), Paige Clark (Allen Smith), Oley Clark (Summer Dalton) Gavyn Hall and Lucas Hall. Honary grandchildren: Konor Ortiz, Colton Brigmond and Landon Stevens. Ten great grands and many adoptive grandchildren along the way. Eight nieces and nephews with special recognition to Ashlie (Jared) Tompkins and Jocelyn. Three brothers; Dennis Corbitt (Becky), Dale Corbitt (Pat), Billy Corbitt (Sherry) and one sister, Trisha Dorminey, all of West Green, GA. Pallbearers: Roy Hollis ( Peter Rabbit), Ben Osteen, Josh Brigmond, Jose Ortiz, Homer Corbitt and Nelson Corbitt.
Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Coastal Pines Hospice and Taylor Smith of Hazlehurst.
