A Florida man was arrested in Broxton during a traffic stop and jailed on a number of serious charges after officers found suspected methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, and marijuana, along with guns and drug paraphernalia, in the vehicle.

According to a report from the Broxton Police Department, officers stopped a 2019 Ford F-150 on Highway 441 on June 2, 2025, at around 3:30 p.m. The vehicle was stopped because the window tint on the F-150 was too dark. During the stop, officers detected the smell of marijuana, according to the report, and asked the driver, identified as Justin Harold Langson, 46, of Albarto, Fla., to step out of the vehicle.

Officers searched the pickup and discovered two handguns, suspected marijuana, multiple bags of suspected methamphetamine, a bag of suspected heroin, several glass and plastic pipes, scales, and bags of suspected cocaine.

Langson was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possess of a Schedule I or Schedule II Controlled Substance with intent to distribute, possession and use of drug-related objects, drugs not in original container, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon or felony first offender, and window tint violation. He remains in the Coffee County Jail.
