Alice McDuffie, age 94, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at her residence. Mrs. McDuffie was born on October 27, 1930 in Jeff Davis County, GA to the late James C. Taylor and the late Mary Taylor.

Her survivors include: daughter in law; Sue McDuffie of Douglas, GA, four grandchildren; Angie McDuffie of Douglas, GA, Chris (Elizabeth) McDuffie of Douglas, GA, Renee McDuffie of Douglas, GA, and Felicia (Mark ) Rivers, seven great-grandchildren; Brittany, Kasey, Ashley, Brandon, Jarrett, Emily, Elizabeth, two step grandchildren; Matt Rivers, Brooke Rivers, twelve great-great grandchildren; Valor, Brayden, Autumn, Corbin, Kylynn, Amelia, Mac, Kayden, Mason, Roger, Allie, Noah, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: father, James C. Taylor; mother, Mary Taylor; husband, Barney McDuffie; and son, Larry McDuffie.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 16, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Parrish officiating. Interment will follow at the City of Douglas Cemetery.

Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.simsfuneralhome.org.

Sims Funeral Home, Douglas, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
