Earlier this month, a deputy responded to a disorderly person call and arrested a 45-year-old on a variety of charges, including public indecency, criminal trespass, and terroristic threats.
A report from the sheriff’s office states that on June 3, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a deputy responded to a Mahogany Road address. When he arrived, he spoke to two victims who stated that Daniel Wayne Everett, 45, of Douglas, had come to the residence and began arguing with one of the victims. Both victims reported that Everett pulled down the screen around the porch and smashed his phone on the porch, the report states.
The report says the two victims went inside the house. Then Everett went to a window and exposed himself to both victims, the report says. One victim reported that Everett then threatened to burn her vehicle, a Ford F-150.
The officer spoke with Everett who, according to the report, admitted to exposing himself to one of the victims but not the other. He admitted to tearing down the screen on the porch but he didn’t threaten to burn the truck, the report says.
Everett was arrested and charged with public indecency (first or second conviction), criminal trespass (family violence), and terroristic threats and acts. He was transported to the Coffee County Jail.
