Doris Wilson Taylor, age 93, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA. Mrs. Taylor was born on May 29, 1932, in Pearson, GA to the late Samuel Morrison Roberts and the late Lula Parrish Roberts.

Her survivors include: one Daughter, Ellen (Johnnie) Deen of Douglas, GA; two sons, Wesley (Rhonda) Wilson, and James (Connie) Wilson; thirteen grandchildren, Jonna Amarosa, Stacy (Stephanie ) Wilson, Jon Michael (Haley ) Deen, Stephanie Vick, Kelley (DJ) Gurley, Katie (Josh ) Sexton, Carl (Kristina) Wilson, Robert (Briana ) Wilson, Jacob (Lauren ) Wilson, Courtney (Justin) Straub, Stephen Wilson, Emily Wilson, Victoria Wilson, and Katherine (Harold ) Mizell, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: first husband, C.R. Wilson; second husband, Oscar Taylor; one son, Roger Wilson; one brother, Sam Roberts , Jr.; three sisters, Ruth Davis, Aline O’Brien, and Joan Davis; father, Samuel Morrison Roberts; and mother, Lula Parrish Roberts.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 27th, 2025, at St. Illa Baptist Church, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 27th, 2025, at St. Illa Baptist Church in Douglas, GA, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Terry Regan officiating.

Active pallbearers will include all of her grandsons.
