Officers arrest, charge suspect after alleged Highway 158 fight

On June 24, 2025, officers from the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported physical altercation on Highway 158. Upon arrival, deputies determined that the incident had ended and the involved parties had left the scene.

Subsequent investigation identified Pedro Adolfo Vasquez as one of the participants in the altercation. Based on evidence collected and witness statements, Vasquez was charged with battery, affray (fighting), and terroristic threats.

Vasquez was taken into custody and transported to the Coffee County Jail. He was later released on bail and is currently awaiting a court appearance.

The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to upholding the law and ensuring public safety.
