Robert Desso Surrency, age 68, of Douglas, GA, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 7th, 2025, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 16th, 2025, the son of Mr. Desso Surrency and Mrs. Emily Varnedore.
His survivors include: five daughters, Teresa F. (Reyes) Surrency of Douglas, GA, Bobbie Jo (Luis) Surrency of Douglas, GA, Abby Gail (Victor) Surrency of Douglas, GA, Cynthia Marie (John) Price of Sparks, GA, and Brittany Surrency of Douglas, GA; one son, Robert Desso Surrency Jr.; one sister, Linda (Larry) Taylor; eleven grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: father, Desso Surrancy; mother, Emily Varnedore Surrency, and one grandson, Rodney Dillon Surrency.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 12th, 2025 at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Alma, GA, from 10:00 PM until 11:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, at Salem Baptist Church in Nicholls, GA, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Victor Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will include: Nathan Fernandez, Cesar Tinoco, Lewis Narvaez, John Price, Reyes Figuceroa, and Joey Costello.
