Debra Ann Lopez, age 63 of Douglas, GA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20th, 2025. She was born on February 4th, 1962, the daughter of Henry Virgil Hersey and Flora Ann Key.

Her survivors include: her beloved husband, Tony Lopez of Douglas, GA; two daughters, Angel Maria Gonzales of Douglas, GA and Amanda Duque of Douglas, GA; mother, Ann Hersey Millard of Douglas, GA; three sons, Timmothy Hall of Valdosta, GA, Zackery Hall of Eastman, GA and Matthew Hall of Madison, Fl; twelve grandchildren, Jonathan Hall, Maira Hall, Midajah Rodriguez, Camden Hall, Nathan Little, Liam Moreno, Colby Hall, Haley Hall, Brooklyn Hall, Jaden Hall, Landon Hall and Lilly Hall; one sister, Christy (Michael) Batten of Douglas, GA; one brother, David (Laurie) Hersey of Douglas, GA along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: father, Henry Virgil Hersey and grandchild, Jose Salazar.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 24th, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25th, 2025, at Chatterton Church in Nicholls, GA, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Byron Griffis officiating.

Active pallbearers will include: Zackery Hall, Matthew Hall, Timmothy Hall, Jonathan Hall, Tony Lopez and Adam Washburn.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
