Linda Bolt, age 68, of Ocilla, GA, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22nd, 2025, following a brief illness. She was born on January 25th, 1957, the daughter of Lamar and Hazel Whitehead.

Her survivors include: two daughters, Genae (Christopher) Bolt of Ocilla, GA Kendra (Justin) Rowell of Ocilla, GA; three grandchildren, Layla Rowell, Gracie Tullo, and Casen Tullo; two sisters, Gloria (Randy) Crowley of Douglas, GA and Susan (Terry) Barber of Buford, GA; three brothers, Gilbert (Tammy) Hurst of Brunswick, GA, Ronnie (Susan) Johnson of Douglas, GA, and Johnny (Nita) Whitehead of Douglas, GA; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Bolt; father, Lamar Whitehead; and mother, Hazel Whitehead.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4th, 2025, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 4th, 2025, at Chatterton Church Cemetery, with Rev. Don Dixon officiating. Interment will follow at Chatterton Church Cemetery.

Song Selections were provided by the family, “Through the Fire” and “Goodness of God”.

Active pallbearers will include: Michael Herren, Matt Lindsey, and Jason Grubb.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests all donations be made to Sims Funeral Home.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
