It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dora Nadine Radcliffe, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who peacefully departed this world on August 19, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on October 30, 1936, in Douglas, Georgia, Nadine was a beacon of love, warmth, and generosity throughout her life. Nadine dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family and was a devoted homemaker. Nadine was an incredible host, always ready to open her home for gatherings and celebrations. Her culinary skills brought family and friends together, and her delectable dishes will be missed by all who had the pleasure of enjoying them. Nadine had a love for reading and enjoyed shopping. She will be remembered for her incredible recipes that she enjoyed sharing with her loved ones.
A faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Blairsville, Nadine found joy in her spiritual community. She was an active participant in church activities. She was a Worthy Matron of the Eastern Stars. Her commitment to her faith and her community was evident in her caring spirit and dedication to those around her.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Blonnie Hutcheson; and brothers, Windell Hutcheson, Jeff Hutcheson, Billy Hutcheson, and Cecil Hutcheson.
Nadine is survived by her husband of over 66 years, George Radcliffe; children, Karen Radcliffe, David (Rhonda) Radcliffe, and Don Radcliffe; sister, Joanne (Gene) Smith; 7 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services for Mrs. Dora Nadine Radcliffe will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church Blairsville in The Rock Chapel with Pastor Ricky Powell officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at First Baptist Church Blairsville in The Rock Chapel.
A graveside service and inurnment will be held to honor Nadine on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Douglas City Cemetery in Douglas, Georgia.
