CRMC welcomes Board Certified Neurologist Choudhury M. Salekin, M.D., M.P.H.

Coffee Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Choudhury M. Salekin, M.D., M.P.H., a Board Certified Neurologist, to CRH Neurology Group, expanding access to specialized neurological care in Coffee County and the surrounding region.

He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Coffee Regional, having received his Master of Public Health degree from Harvard University, where he also completed a residency and fellowship in Occupational Medicine. He went on to complete a residency in Neurology and a fellowship in Sleep-Wake Disorders from Wayne State University, building a comprehensive foundation in neurological care.

Dr. Salekin has developed deep expertise in a wide range of neurological subspecialties, including:

  • Psychiatric disorders
  • Sleep disorders
  • Neuro-ophthalmology
  • Neuro-otology
  • Metabolic, toxic, and nutritional deficiency disorders

He is a Board Certified Neurologist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as the American Board of Disability Analysts. His experience spans both the hospital setting, where he has served as a neurohospitalist, and private practice, where he has provided independent neurological consultations and care.

“We are proud to welcome Dr. Salekin to our team of well-trained providers at CRH Neurology Group,” said Vicki Lewis, President and CEO of Coffee Regional Medical Center. “His broad expertise and commitment to comprehensive neurological care will be a tremendous asset to our patients and referring providers.”

Dr. Salekin has begun seeing patients, by physician referral only. Appointments will be available through CRH Neurology Group, located at Suite K of the 200 Doctors Building next to Coffee Regional Medical Center.
