Frances Louise Ortiz, age 60, of Douglas, GA, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Ms. Ortiz was born on November 1, 1964 to the late James Alvin Davis and Mary Frances Davis.

Survivors include: three sons, Jose (Ashley) Ortiz of Douglas, GA; Zachary (Adam) Ortiz of Hazelhurst, GA and Johnathan Ortiz of Douglas, GA; three grandchildren, Konor Ortiz, Ava Wynn, and Maddux Wynn; three brothers, Michael (Mary) Davis of West Green, GA, Randy Davis of Broxton, GA, and Alvin Davis of Douglas, GA, along with several nieces and nephews. Ms. Ortiz was preceded in death by her husband, Reinaldo S. Ortiz and parents, James Alvin Davis and Mary Frances Davis.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Michael Davis and Joey Smith officiating. The interment will follow the service at Calvary Full Gospel Tabernacle Cemetery.

Activepallbearers will be: Tim Davis, Daniel Davis, Joey Wright, Clint Williams, Lewis Hall, and Max Duque.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
