Cheryl Denise Logue, lovingly known to her family as “Nana,” age 73, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away on September 4, 2025.

Born in Fairhope, Alabama, Chery| later made Douglas, Georgia her home. She worked for many years at the Huddle House, where her laughter and spirited presence made her a beloved fixture. She also spent countless evenings at the auction, and she cherished visits back to Foley, Alabama, to spend time with her sister and family.

Known for her fiery spirit and unwavering grit, Cheryl was strong-willed yet deeply caring. She loved spending time outdoors, tending to her yard, and finding joy in the simple pleasures of life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James “Von” Logue; her sons, Paul and BJ; her brothers, Glen and Joe; and her sisters, Helen and Janice.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tierney and Jamie Smith; her son Jason; and her daughters, Shelly and Kelly Logue. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren – Tiara, Christian, Bree, Katie, Caden, Caroline, Reid, Ryan, Dennis, Billy, Jeff, Lindsey, Keegan, and Westen – as well as several great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 11th, 2025, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 12th, 2025, at Westwood Baptist Church in Ambrose, Ga, at 2:00PM with Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating.

Active pallbearers will include: Caden Logue, Billy Roberson, Julian Shuman, and Matthew Moody.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arangements.
