Laura Alicia Morfin, age 49, of Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA. She was born on August 31st, 1976, the daughter of Eudoro Morfin and Blanca Lopez.

Her survivors include: her beloved husband, Carlos Rodriguez of Oklahoma; two daughters, Laura J. (Matthew) Mckinnon of Douglas, GA and Daisy J. Cruz of Douglas, GA; one son, Jamie Cruz of Douglas, GA; two grandchildren, Aiden Guerrero and Aaron Guerrero; one sister, Zenaida (Phillip) Morfin of Douglas, GA; three brothers, Efren (Maritza) Morfin of California, Jesus (Karina) Morfin of Oklahoma, and Cristian (Anna) Morfin of Douglas, GA, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 12th, 2025, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 13th, 2025, at the City of Douglas Cemetery in Douglas, GA, at 11:00 am, with Father Victor Mendoza officiating. Interment will follow at the City of Douglas Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will include: Jamie Cruz, Cristian Morfin, Jesus Morfin, Carlos Rodriguez, Efren Morfin, and Tomas Puente.

Honorary Pallbearers will include: Phillip Spikes and Marcos Morfin.
