William Bernard Thomas, age 86, of Douglas, GA, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12th, 2025, at his residence. He was born on September 24th, 1938 the son of Sidney and Myrtice Thomas.
His Survivors include: his beloved wife of 70 years, Audrey Thomas of Douglas, GA; three children, Teresa Thomas, Gwen and Debbie Thomas, and Michael and Jan Thomas; four grandchildren, Scottie and Gina Thomas, Shafton and Amy Thomas, Travis Thomas and Rhett Thomas; four great-grandchildren, Tyler Thomas, Cam Thomas, Bentley Thomas and Kallie Rae Thomas; one sister, Rita Sanders, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Sidney and Mytrice Thomas and two brothers, Verlon Thomas and Mickey Thomas.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 15th, 2025 from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at Douglas Christian Fellowship in Douglas, GA.
Funeral dervices will be held at 2:00 PM at Douglas Christian Fellowship in Douglas, GA, with Pastor Lomax and Pastor Britt Peavy officiating. Interment will follow at Moore Cemetery
Active pallbearers will include: Scottie Thomas, Travis Thomas, Shafton Thomas, Rhett Thomas, Tyler Thomas, Cam Thomas, Bentley Thomas, and Payton Bennett.
