A passenger in a vehicle that a Douglas police officer stopped for no taillights turned himself in to officers on September 13, 2025, because he had an active warrant.

According to a report from the Douglas Police Department, an officer stopped a blue 2006 Chevrolet Silverado on Perimeter Road near the airport fire station for no taillights. During the stop, a passenger, Emmanuel Dishon Green, 31, of Douglas, turned himself in to officers because he had an active warrant. The officer verified the warrant and took Green into custody.

The driver of the Silverado, Joshua Terrell, 36, was given a warning for no taillights. Green was transported to the Coffee County Jail on aggravated assault and probation violation charges. He remains in custody.
