Jacob Arthur Lott, age 81, of Broxton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at VA Medical Center in Dublin, GA. He was born on March 9, 1944, in Douglas, GA to the late Arthur Lott and the late Mary Lillian Lott.
Survivors include: three sons, Tim (Paula) Lott of Broxton, GA, Johnny (Vickie) Lott of Douglas, GA, and Jason (Kayla) Lott of Pridgen, GA; one daughter, Debbie (John) Roberts of Douglas, GA; one stepdaughter, Annette (Mark) Wilcox; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; brother, Jimmy (Lyna) Lott of MI; sister, Mary Evelyn Lott; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: brother, Raymond Lott; father, Arthur Lott; and mother, Mary Lillian Lott.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA with Rev. Jeremy Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will include: Collin Lott, Jacob Lott, Justin Lott, Brandon Kight, Luke Kight, John Roberts, Chris Lott, Kyle Lott, Preston Hutto, Hunter Hutto, Bryce Smith, and Austin Fechender.
