A 33-year-old from Ashburn was arrested and jailed after he allegedly called a local medical office and threatened to shoot staff over a refund that hadn’t been processed yet, according to a report from the Douglas Police Department.

The report states that on September 22, 2025, Darius Green, 33, of Ashburn, called a local medical office and made the threats because he hadn’t received a refund he was owed. The report says that staff told him that they had been working on getting the refund processed.

Green had undergone a procedure earlier in the day. However, the money that was owed to him was “from a previous surgery that he had rescheduled,” the report says. Officers were able to listen to a recording of the call Green made. In the call, Green can be heard saying, “I’m telling you, it’s not going to end well, ma’am,” according to the report. Green also says, “A bitch gonna get shot today” and “Bitch fixin’ to get got as soon as I get to Douglas if they ain’t got my money,” the report states.

Green did not come to Douglas on September 22. However, he did come to town on the morning of September 23. He was arrested and charged with terroristic threats and acts. He was booked into the Coffee County Jail and released on a $1,000 property bond.
