Linda Taylor, age 72, of Broxton, Georgia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at her home. Taylor was born on October 19, 1953, in Douglas, GA to the late Desso Surrency and the late Emma Lee Surrency.

Survivors include: her beloved husband, Larry Taylor of Broxton, GA; two daughters, Michelle (Kevin) Bixler of Douglas, GA and Carol (Pete) Williams of Alma, GA; one son, Scott (Lisa) Taylor; ten grandchildren, Teddy Williams, Shawn Williams, Matthew Spivey, Tiffany Smith, Austin Bixler, Alex Bixler, Kameron Taylor, Kaitlyn Tacketson, Crystal Stone, and Nichole Allen; fifteen great-grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by one Brother, Robert Surrency; one sister, Brenda Wolfe; father, Desso Surrency; and mother, Emma Lee Surrency.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 2:00 pm at First Assembly of God with Rev. Marshall Adcock, and Gene Chaney officiating. Interment will follow at Meeks Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will include: Kameron Taylor, Cam Ricketson, Matthew Spivey, Shannon Smith, Josh Carter, and Austin Bixler.

Honorary pallbearer will include: Kevin Bixler.

Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.simsfuneralhome.org.

Sims Funeral Home, Douglas, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
