During the operation, agents located methamphetamine and several unprescribed Roxicodone tablets in the possession of Carrie Wright, 48, of Douglas. Wright informed investigators that the tablets were pressed fentanyl pills. All suspected controlled substances have been submitted to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) Crime Lab for official analysis.

Under Georgia law, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute is a felony offense that carries a potential penalty of five to 30 years imprisonment for a first conviction, with increased penalties for repeat offenders. Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, including fentanyl or oxycodone, is also a felony, punishable by two to 15 years imprisonment depending on the circumstances and prior criminal history.
