A move-out a local mobile home park turned ugly when one individual allegedly destroyed property inside the home as she was moving out, according to an incident report from the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office.
The report states that on November 12, 2025, just after 11 a.m., a deputy responded to a mobile home park on Second Avenue in reference to a disorderly person. The complainant stated that her daughter’s roommate, Kalie Nicole Brigmond, 19, of Douglas, was moving out and her daughter wanted the complainant there while Brigmond moved. The complainant stated that when she arrived, she heard a sound like “someone was tearing the house apart,” according to the report. She went inside and saw Brigmond “throwing stuff all over the house,” the report says.
The complainant told Brigmond to stop and then they started arguing. The report says that the complainant reported that Brigmond “motioned like she wanted to strike her” so the complainant called 911. At that point, the report states, Brigmond and her boyfriend packed up the rest of her things and moved out. According to the report, a refrigerator, TV, lamp, and lamp bulb had all been damaged.
The officer went to a home at Bear Creek Mobile Home Park and spoke with Brigmond and her boyfriend. Brigmond stated that she had been kicked out “over making some cookies.” Brigmond stated that she threw a chair and broke a heat lamp, the report says. Her boyfriend stated that when he arrived, the house was already in a mess and he didn’t see Brigmond break or damage anything.
The officer arrested Brigmond and charged her with criminal trespass – family violence. She was booked into the Coffee County Jail and later released.
