Sunday night around 9 p.m., Douglas police officers responded to a crash at the In & Out convenience store located on East Baker Highway. A vehicle had driven through the front door of the store, causing significant damage to the building and the vehicle.
People at the scene stated that the driver of the vehicle, which was a white Nissan Juke, thought the car was in park but “something happened.” The Juke crashed through the front door, going almost all the way into the store.
While the accident took out a significant portion of the front of the store, no injuries were reported. Officers stated that they did not expect any charges to be filed as a result of the incident.
