A dump truck driver woke up to a strange scene on the morning of July 9, 2026.
According to a sheriff’s office report, the driver of the truck went outside around 5 a.m. and found a 2013 Ford Taurus wedged underneath the back of his 2006 Mack dump truck.
The report says that a neighbor stated the following: The boyfriend of the car’s owner showed up between midnight and 1 a.m. and gave her the keys to the car. The boyfriend was identified as Ricardo Malik Ziquez Tucker, 26, of Douglas. After turning over the keys to the car, he left.
Officers located Tucker and charged him with hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident. He was booked into the Coffee County Jail and later released on a $3,146 property bond.
