A 67-year-old man who was allegedly walking around with his penis exposed was arrested and charged with indecent exposure on April 5, 2026.
According to a report from the Douglas Police Department, around 8 p.m. on April 5, an officer responded to an indecent exposure call at Pine Street and Brooks Avenue. The complainant stated that the man, identified as Barney Thomas, 67, of Douglas, was walking along Pine Street with his privates hanging out of the bottom of his shorts. When he got close, the report says, he “began playing with it.”
The complainant said that he does this often, according to the report, and neighbors send their children inside when he walks by.
Thomas was transported to the Coffee County Jail on indecent exposure charges. He was booked into the jail and later released.
