In recognition of her 45-year career servicing the banking and financial needs of Douglas and Coffee County, Mayor James Dennis has proclaimed July 31, 2015  as “Rose Pope Day” in the City of Douglas.

Rose Pope of First National Bank of Coffee County (FNBCC) was recently awarded the “Lifetime Service Award” by the Community Bankers Association of Georgia for her 45 years of dedicated service to the banking industry. This prestigious award was presented to her, in person, by CBA Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Steven Rigdon, with her family, friends, and co-workers present.

Mrs. Pope, known simply as “Rose” to her loyal customers and friends, has passionately served the last 25 years of her career at FNBCC. Her hard work and commitment have been a huge contribution to FNBCC’s success. Rose has been a smiling face of FNBCC since the doors opened to the Coffee County community in 1991. A founding officer of FNBCC, she served in many capacities over the past 25 years. Throughout her years of service, she served each of those roles with dedication and distinction.  She is best known for her excellence in customer service. Rose has always shown true professionalism, offering every customer top-notch service with respect, diligence, and discretion.

A reception will be held in Rose’s honor. First National Bank of Coffee County would like to invite their valued customers and friends in the community to the bank on Friday, July 31, t honor Rose.
