Ameris Bank Market President David Batchelor is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeanette Barile to vice president business banker in the Douglas West branch. In this role, Barile will work directly with business owners in the market area to grow business deposits and loans and further develop commercial relationships.

“With Jeanette’s extensive experience, we are confident that she will do an excellent job finding the right financial solutions to help our clients succeed,” said Batchelor. “Jeanette has been with Ameris Bank for over 18 years and we are fortunate to have her as a member of our business banking team serving the Douglas market.”

Barile previously served as assistant vice president consumer lender for Ameris Bank. Prior to joining Ameris, she served as a legal assistant at Cottingham and Porter Law Firm and also worked in the loan department at SunTrust Bank.

Barile attended South Georgia College and has been a member of the Douglas Rotary Club since 2002. She is also involved in the Douglas – Coffee County Chamber of Commerce as a past board member and New Century Leader program participant. Barile resides in Douglas with her daughter, Jessica.
