George Dockery, age 79, of Ambrose, GA passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Dockery was born on September 7, 1936.

Survivors include: his wife, Jimmie Sue Dockery of Ambrose, GA; two daughters, Sue Lane Hughes of Broxton, GA and Jackquelyn Jowers of Broxton, GA; son, Richael Dockery of Ambrose, GA; brother, Bennie Dockery; sister, Elizabeth Dockery, six grandchildren, Brann Dockery, Kyle Holt, Melissa Holt, Jessica Metters, Robin Middleton, and Jason Hughes; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Brooks.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Wray Holiness Church with Rev. Steve Willingham, Steve Bowen, and Kevin Vickers officiating. Interment will follow at Wray Holiness Church Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
