The Douglas – Coffee County Public Library held a children’s Halloween party Saturday, October 24, from 1 – 2:30 p.m. in the large meeting room. Children had an option to dress up in costume, and there were various games including a mummy wrap competition, bug toss, pin the spider on the web, Halloween bingo/mad libs, and arts and crafts making ghosts, spiders, and coloring.

Children received a small prize for each game in which they participated, and a drawing was held for a Halloween children’s DVD. Halloween treats and juice were served, and everyone had a great time!

For more information about upcoming children’s, tween, and teen programs or to schedule a field trip or classroom visit, please call Julie Macomber, Children’s and Young Adult Librarian, at (912) 384-4667 ext. 222.
