Mr. Tommy Edward Benefield, age 54, of West Green passed away early Saturday morning, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross, GA following a extended illness. He was born April 3, 1960 to the late Thomas Benefield and the late Emma Elizabeth Cooper Benefield.

Survivors include: 3 Daughters: Brandy (John) Strickland of Blackshear, GA, Kristy (Travis) Robinson of Broxton, GA, Tiffany Benefield of Douglas, GA, 1 Son: Thomas Benefield of Douglas, GA, 2 Sisters: Pat (Ronnie) Hester of Douglas, GA, Linda (Glen) Smith of West Green, GA, 1 Brother: Billy Benefield of West Green, GA, 11 Grandchildren: Tyler Cothren, Nathan Cothern, Sydney Strickland, Shelby Strickland, Savannah Strickland all of Blackshear, GA, Jordan Merritt, Emily Robinson, Erin Robinson all of Broxton, GA, Lexi Benefield and Amiya Shiver of Douglas, GA and Kiley King of Willacoochee, GA, 1 Great Grandchild: Asher Lewis of Blackshear, GA, Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be Monday, November 30, 2015, at 3:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Jason McSwain officiating. The interment will follow in the Calvary Full Gospel Cemetery in West Green. The family will begin receiving friends Sunday evening, from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.
