Jeffery Young, age 48, of Douglas, GA passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015, following a sudden illness. Mr. Young was born on May 25, 1967, in Van, CA to Carolyn Ruth Aldridge Young and the late Carl Young.
Survivors include: his two sons, D.J. Young, Jr. of Buffalo, TX and Steven Young of Douglas, GA; two daughters, Jessica Cown of Winchester, KY and Amber Young of Landcaster, KY; mother, Carolyn Young of Douglas, GA; three sisters, Wanda Porter of Douglas, GA, Linda (James) Phillips of Ambrose, GA, and Sherry (David) Derouchers of Morrisville, VT; two brothers, Michael Carl (Vicki) Young of Douglas, GA and Leon (Penny) Young of Douglas, GA; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Victor Gilbert officiating.
