Tony West, age 75, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. West was born on August 24, 1940, in Douglas, GA to the George West and Nellie Rebecca Burke West.
Survivors include: his wife, Judy West of Douglas, GA; daughter, Tonya (Shawn) West of Douglas, GA; three granddaughters, Sarah Grantham, Catherine Grantham and Hanna Gillespie; two grandsons, Skyler McQuaig and Martin McNulty; sister, Lawana Reise of Macon, GA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Wheeler.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. John Dobbins officiating. Interment will follow at Douglas City Cemetery.
