Charlie Elton Mobley, age 69, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Mobley was born June 16, 1946, in Ludowici, GA to the late Euford Mobley and Ruby Claire Harrelson Mobley.
Survivors include his children: Tina Mobley of Douglas, GA; Julie Mobley (Everett) of Waycross, GA; Sharon (James) Edge of Pearson, GA; Euford Mobley of Douglas, GA; Melinda Mobley (Richard McNab) of Nicholls, GA and Courtney Mobley Sanchez (Joe Passmore) of Olean, NY; Three sisters: Cathy (Dave) Conley of Savannah, GA; Mary Hirschman of Collins, GA; Frankie Kenard of North Carolina; Sister-in-Law: Francis Mobley; Three brothers: Hugh (Anna) Mobley of Arkansas; Walter Mobley of North Carolina; and Dennis (Suzanne) Mobley of New Jersey; Sixteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother: Robert (Bobby) Mobley.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 Pm at Sims Funeral Home. Services will be held Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Kelly Officiating.
