Mrs. Carolyn Cady Wright, age 71, of Douglas, GA passed away at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA on Friday, March 4, 2016.

Mrs. Wright was born in Jacksonville, FL on May 29, 1944 to the late Paul Devere Cady and Annie Mae Little Cady.
Mrs. Wright was a member of Jowers Chapel Holiness Baptist Church since February 1967, a retired RN from Coffee Regional Medical Center after 261/2 years of dedicated service, worked with the Coffee County Kidney Foundation, Bethany Hospice volunteer, sang as Cady Sisters at dedications, funerals, homecomings and political gatherings. Her teacher, Mrs. Maude Gillis, gave her a diploma at graduation that read “Never Idle, Never Still, Always Talking, and Always Will.”

Survivors include three sisters: Lois Mills, Lou (Claude) Ray, Faye Adams, all of Douglas, GA and one brother: John Lawton (Markey) Cady of Douglas, GA; Step-daughter: Debbie Wright Roberts of Douglas, GA. and several nieces and nephews.

Flowers Accepted, Memorials may be made to Jowers Chapel Building Fund, c/o Faye Adams, 656 Jasmine Dr., Douglas, Ga. 31535.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Jowers Chapel Church with the Rev. Howard Holt, Rev. Kenneth Mathews, Rev. Donnie Sloan, Rev. Edsel Young and Beth Harper, Niece.

Interment will be held at Tanner Church Cemetery.
