Coffee High AP European History and AP Macroeconomics students traveled with their teacher, Cathy Latham, to New York City for Spring Break and visited many aspects of the financial markets, including the Federal Reserve Gold Vault and Wall Street. Students also had the opportunity to attend the opening bell at NASDAQ on Wednesday, March 30.
The big surprise came when students met George Lopez, who rang the bell to promote his new series “Lopez” for Viacom, a member of NASDAQ.
Students who went on trip were Tyler White, Sam Henkel, Harrison Barlow, Maria Hall, Angel Ortiz, Nick Freeman, Ariel Watts, Kieran Lane, Elvira Lopaz, and Jasmine Tyson.
