Mr. Leroy Day, age 78, of Wray passed away early Saturday morning, April 16, 2016, at the home of his daughter, Pam and Dwayne Gillis, following an extended illness. He was born January 18, 1938 to the late George H. Day and the late Annie Mae Jackson Day.

Survivors include, His Wife, Margaret Smith Day of Wray, GA; 1 Daughter, Pam (Dwayne) Gillis of Douglas, GA; 1 Son, Greg Day of Douglas, GA; 4 Grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Baker, Hamp (Emily) Gillis, Justin Day, and Grant (Diana) Gillis; 4 Great Grandchildren, Ella Baker, Annaclaire Baker, Briggs Baker, and Henry Gillis; 1 Brother, James (Mary Lou) Day of Douglas, GA; 2 Sisters, Betty Smith and Delores Wooten, both of Douglas, GA; Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be Monday, April 18, 2016, at 2:00 P. M., at the West Ward Street Church of God, with Rev. Britt Peavy and Rev. W. A. Bingham to officiate. The Interment will follow in the New Bethel Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery, in Ben Hill County, with Rev. Jody Silvers conducting the Committal Services. The family will begin receiving friends Sunday evening, from 6:00 to 8:00 P. M., at the West Ward Street Church of God.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.
