Beverly Johns recently attended the Council of Probate Court Judges Spring Conference. This Conference is sponsored by the Institute of Continuing Judicial Education and was held at Sea Palms Resort and Conference Center for Continuing Education in St. Simons Island on April 18-21.

The judges attended judicial training courses, covering topics including: Weapons Carry License Issuance, Ethical Issues in Litigation and Legal Counsel, Overview of the updated edition of the Probate Judges’ Benchbook, Mental Health Law, Procedural Rules of the JQC, Civil Procedure, Due Process Fundamentals, Case Law Updates and Court Security Issues.

The Council of Probate Court Judges is composed of currently seated judges and retired judges of the Georgia Probate Courts.
