A 32-year-old Ocilla man is behind bars this morning following a shooting incident that left another man dead.
Ocilla Police responded to the 900 block of North Carver St. around 9 p.m., where they discovered the victim, 30-year-old Anthony Walker, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
The suspect, identified as Patrick Thrower, initially left the scene, but later turned himself in to authorities. He is charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Officials state the incident remains under investigation.
