DouglasNow.com Content Editor Jerry Hudson was the speaker at the Douglas Kiwanis Club meeting Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the Flyin’ Cowboy restaurant.
Mr. Hudson spoke briefly about his past history with chemical dependency and the work the Life Recovery Ministry in Broxton is doing to help individuals in the Coffee County area struggling with substance abuse, compulsive/self-destructive behaviors, and emotional trauma.
The Kiwanis Club members enjoyed and appreciated his talk.
