Glen Schultz, author of Kingdom Education, will be at First Baptist Church Douglas this Sunday, September 18, to speak on “How to Raise Godly Children in an Ungodly World” in the morning services at 8:15 a.m. and 11 a.m.. He will also lead a session at 2 p.m. for all parents about “A Vision for your Children’s Future.”

We are living in perilous times. The threat of terrorist attack is constantly being reported by the news agencies along with the uncertainty of the economy. Discouragement, fear and anxiety are become more and more common throughout society.

However, the greatest attack taking place today is an all-out assault of the family. Biblical values that define and shape the family are disappearing from the culture. The main target of the war is our children and youth.

Glen Schultz says, “I am more and more convicted about the role that education plays in today’s culture war.” Neil Postman states, “Behind every educational effort is the pursuit of a ‘god’ or ‘gods’. Unfortunately, the majority of parents, including Christian parents, are pursuing false gods as they choose how and where to educate their children.

Kingdom Education Ministries is dedicated to uniting the home, church and school in an effort to provide today’s youth with a Bible-based, Christ-centered education. Glen Schultz says, “I believe this is the only hope that we have to not only protect our children from this secular attack on their beliefs and values but also to arm them to enter the battle as they go out into adult life.”

Having spent more than 40 years in the field of education, Glen understands its impact on shaping the hearts and minds of future generations. More than ever before we need to equip the next generation to impact the culture by thinking and acting from a biblical worldview.

Glen Schultz has been a teacher, coach, high school principal and superintendent during his tenure in Christian schools.  Dr. Schultz just completed 9 years as an associate pastor at Sherwood Baptist Church and Headmaster of Sherwood Christian Academy.  Prior to this, Glen directed the Christian school work at LifeWay Christian Resources for 9 years.  He also served as the Association of Christian Schools International Southeast Regional Director for 7 years.

Glen is the author of Kingdom Education: God’s Plan for Educating Future Generations and several parenting booklets including A Parent’s Greatest Joy, Home Invasion, Shepherding and 20/20 Vision.  He has conducted seminars throughout the United States and several foreign countries. Dr. Schultz is the founder and director of Kingdom Education Ministries.
