Hungry Howie’s continues in its unwavering commitment to National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its eighth annual “Love, Hope & Pizza” campaign. Since 2009, Hungry Howie’s has been dedicated to spreading awareness and raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. (NBCF). Beginning September 26 and throughout the month of October, the company will serve their signature pizzas in pink boxes decorated with the NBCF logo. For every pizza purchased, Hungry Howie’s will donate a portion of the proceeds to NBCF. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from each chocolate Howie Brownie™ with pink raspberry sauce will be donated to NBCF.

During this special time, Hungry Howie’s customers are invited to spread awareness and share their experiences with breast cancer, as well as their stories of love, hope and inspiration on social media via the hashtag #lovehopepizza. In-store guests may purchase a “Slice of Hope” pledge to personally decorate and hang on the walls of Hungry Howie’s stores. Additionally, fans visiting store locations will have the opportunity to purchase Hungry Howie’s swag, including Love, Hope & Pizza pink bracelets and bandanas, with all proceeds benefitting the foundation. Online customers will be invited to donate to the cause at checkout and can also purchase a special themed Love, Hope & Pizza t-shirt, with all net proceeds from the t-shirt being donated to NBCF.

“We are proud to kick-off our eighth year of raising awareness and funds to help fight breast cancer. Each year our teams across the country look forward to October and what we can do to shed light on such an important cause,” said Rob Elliott, Executive Vice President of Marketing at Hungry Howie’s Pizza. “This campaign has become a huge part of the Hungry Howie’s culture. We are extremely pleased to have raised over $1.5 million for NBCF in our years of work on Love, Hope & Pizza and consider ourselves lucky to serve pizza with a purpose.”

“Since the inception of the Love, Hope and Pizza campaign several years ago, Hungry Howie’s has had an undeniable impact on breast cancer awareness across the country. I believe their dedication to the cause has truly touched the hearts of breast cancer survivors, fighters and families who feel the impact of this terrible disease every day,” says Janelle Hail, Co-Founder and CEO of NBCF. “Donations from Hungry Howie’s Pizza help us give women across the United States access to early detection services, mammograms, education and support services. We at NBCF are so grateful for this partnership we have fostered over the years.”
