Mr. Joshua Wesley Davis, age 37, of Chattanooga, TN passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN following an extended illness. Josh was born January 18, 1980 to Sammy and Diane Davis of Chattanooga, TN. He was a 1999 graduate of Bradley Central High School. He was a member of Westmore Church of God in Cleveland, TN, but since moving to Chattanooga, Josh attended Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church.

Josh loved Christian music and had an appreciation of life. His life goal was to produce Christian films. Josh was about to complete his senior year at Southern Adventist University where upon graduation he would receive his undergraduate degree in film production.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Wesley and Jimmie Lee Davis and his maternal grandparents, Leon and Helen Willis.

Survivors include: His wife: Julie Davis of Chattanooga, TN; His Parents: Sammy and Diane Davis of Chattanooga, TN; 1 Sister: Cassia (Fielding) Randolph of Jackson, TN; His identical twin brother: Sammy Oshea Davis of Chattanooga, TN; Numerous Cousins and Other Relatives

Funeral Services will be Monday, January 30, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church with Pastor Joe Novenson and Pastor Robert Green officiating. Graveside services will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 2:00 P. M. at the Douglas City Cemetery, with Rev. Britt Peavy and Josh’s father, Sammy Davis, officiating.

The family will be receiving friends, Sunday afternoon, January 29, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Fike-Randolph Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.
