In preparation for the 2017-2018 school year, Coffee County Schools will be hosting a Teacher Job Fair on Saturday, March 25, from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, in the auditorium of Coffee Middle School, located at 901 Connector 206 North.

All of the school systems administrators for the upcoming school year from the elementary, middle and high school level will be present to conduct informal interviews.  The school system is interested in interviewing applicants from all teaching fields, with special emphasis in the areas of early childhood, middle grades and secondary math, science, social studies, language arts and all exceptionalities of special education.

All interested applicants, who are certified in the state of Georgia or in another state or those eligible for certification through alternative certification or those who will graduate in the spring and are eligible for certification this fall, are cordially invited to attend.

In preparation for the job fair, applicants are asked to bring several copies of their resume to share with the administrators.  It is also highly recommended that applicants complete in advance an on-line application with the district by going to their website, coffee.k12.ga.us and select Employment.

If you have any questions concerning the job fair or teacher certification in Georgia, you may call the Coffee County Board of Education, 384-2086, Ext. 6503 or 6504.  Information concerning Steps to Becoming a Teacher will also be available during the job fair.
