Mrs. Linda Elaine Lott Paulk, age 70, of Willacoochee, GA, passed away Sunday morning, April 30, 2017, at her residence following a short illness. Mrs. Paulk was born July 1, 1946 to the late Aubrey Lott and the late Jean Royal Vickers Lott. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kendall Paulk and brothers, Jerry Lott, Kenny Lott and Darryl Lott. Mrs. Paulk was a homemaker. She also worked alongside her husband as a farmer and a syrup maker. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
Mrs. Paulk was a native of Coffee County; however she had lived in Atkinson County for most of her life.
Survivors include: Husband Warren Paulk of Willacoochee, GA; son Russell Warren Paulk and wife Beverly of Willacoochee, GA; daughter Holly Paulk Thaxton and husband, Travis of Watkinsville, GA; grandchildren Fletcher Thaxton and Allie Thaxton, both of Watkinsville, GA; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Graveside services and interment were held Wednesday morning, May 3, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Satilla Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jan Conner officiating. Active pallbearers were: Trevor Carter, Cleve Carter, Don Paulk, Fletcher Thaxton, Morgan Lott and Billy Waldron. Honorary pallbearers were: Sammy Story, Gene Waldron, Daniel Paulk, Jon Rowe, George F. McCranie,
Kevin Neugent, Daniel Hunkapillar, Sid Steverson, Bartley Neugent, Tommy Flanders, Jason Lott, Jimmy Grantham, Warren Lott and Brandon Minix.
Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
