The Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of AKIM ACADEMY located at 4065 Hwy 441 South in Douglas. The beautiful new facility is open from 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. for childcare as well as before and after school care for students through age 15.

Akim Academy staff teach strong moral principles in a faith-based environment, provide bilingual language development, prepare on site meals. Pastors Victor & Aida Mendoza and staff base the academy’s instruction on Proverbs 22:6,” If you train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old he will not depart from it.”

They invite you to visit or give them a call at 912-393-4669 or 912-384-0876.
