FNBCC is proud to announce the appointment of the following students to the 2017-2018 First National Bank of Coffee County Junior Board of Directors. Being strong advocates of this community, these students represent the future of Coffee County through their display of integrity, quality, and commitment. From Coffee High School, members include: Allison Dorsey, Anna Grace Grantham, Korinda Johnson, William Brice Minix, Deep Patel, Mona Patel, Nidhi Patel, Caris Ruis, Courtney Toth, Kiara Trejo, Kensley Vickers. From Citizens Christian Academy, members include: LeAnne Brown, Lance Fountain, Lari Lott, & Laura Ashley Pridgen. These 15 students represent the top of their class and were chosen by school officials through a rigorous application process.

The primary purpose of the First National Bank of Coffee County Junior Board of Directors program is to educate leaders among high school seniors in banking and personal financial accountability, gaining experience in business meeting procedures and group leadership. It is intended to develop leaders that have a concern for the future of Douglas and Coffee County through a better awareness of prevalent local economics.

The FNBCC Junior Board of Directors will meet on a monthly basis throughout the year and during this time will be working on various projects, while learning essential business and leadership skills & knowledge. The board member who displays the strongest drive and dedication will receive a $1000 scholarship from FNBCC at the end of the service year.

We are excited to see what the year brings and appreciate the school, family, and community’s support in allowing us to work with these outstanding students.
